our code of ethics

A pioneering spirit, passion, determination and team work have defined our company culture for many years. Our Code of Ethics is a written record of our beliefs. It provides the foundation for our daily actions at Mustang.

Our whistleblower system can be used to report violations of laws or our Ethics Charter anonymously or by providing personal data.

The system can be used by employees, business partners and third parties. More information on this can be found in our whistleblower policy.

Respecting human rights is our highest priority.

Human rights are fundamental rights without which human coexistence would not be possible. We are fully committed to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and do not tolerate any abuse.

Charta der Vielfalt

Our Ethics Charter sets out our convictions in the chapter "People" - appreciative interaction, the promotion of equal opportunities and a culture of inclusion. We have a diverse workforce at Mustang. Our diversity makes us strong, because it increases our innovative and creative power.

Mustang officially became part of the nation's largest diversity management network in 2023. In doing so, we are making a voluntary commitment to promote diversity and appreciation in the world of work and are committed to the Charta der Vielfalt.

Social commitment

Our value "We" in particular stands for our cohesion, respectful and trusting cooperation and respect for the weak link in the chain. In line with our code of ethics, it forms the basis for our social commitment.

We see it as our duty to support society socially and financially - this includes projects such as UNICEF, product donations or social activities by our employees in the form of internships or social days.

With our "Mustang for Kids" programme, we support children and young people in particular. We place them and their families at the centre of our social commitment.

Social standards

We are committed to ensuring good working conditions and social standards throughout our value chain.

That's why we are a member of amfori, the world's leading business association for open and sustainable trade. We are participants in amfori BSCI.

Amfori BSCI Code of Coduct

We work exclusively with suppliers who are audited at least according to the standards of BSCI or Sedex, or certified according to SA8000. Since 2021, we have also set minimum requirements for the BSCI audit results of our suppliers.
